Are you familiar with the IEDB Query API (IQ-API)? Have you always wanted to be able to run a query from the database (iedb.org) and have an API query automatically generated that you could come back to later, or integrate into other analysis pipelines? Then this new feature is for you!
Below is a schematic of the 3 ways to access IEDB data now available to our users:
- Database query search through the user interface at iedb.org
- The ability to copy an API link from the ‘Assays’ results tab in the database at iedb.org
- Building a query programmatically through the IQ-API Swagger documentation or your preferred programming environment
How Can I Use this Feature?
- Visit iedb.org and build out your query of interest from the homepage; hit search
- Further filter your query or area of interest if you’d like
- Select the ‘Assays’ results tab and select the IQ-API button under the T/B/MHC Ligand Assays sub-tabs
- Review the API query generated and copy the link or export as a text or JSON file
- Use the API link in your research for additional analysis or prediction pipelines - enjoy!
